What is the price we are paying for a few seconds?

Reading posts and messages on here begs a question to rise from my mind:


Where do you think the world is heading in a place where AI has only been out for a few years, and people are already not writing their own emails, responses, or posts? Are individual thought processes going out the window? Is humanity already so lazy that it is willing to throw out their individuality in trade for saving a few seconds?


Honestly, everyone is starting to sound alike. Same cadence; Same structure; Same formatting. Does no one else notice this in their emails or messages or post or YouTube videos or anything?


Are people no longer capable of writing their own material or coming up with their own thoughts or ideas from scratch? When did we decide to place cognitive thinking skills behind technology?


I feel like all these all-the-sudden new authors and bloggers and posting and email styles would take a sharp turn if it went away tomorrow.
